THE ENGINE is a new development that can very efficiently convert compressed air and other expanding substances into a rotary motion. The permanently rotating pressure transducer (piston) results in very harmonious running, as heavy components such as connecting rods and crankshafts are not required, making the motor simple and light in design. The pressure transmission to the rotary axis is in a permanent 90° position, which means that the pressure transmission is always in an optimum position to generate low to very high torques, depending on the level of pressure fed in. The motor can serve as a drive unit for many other drive concepts in a wide variety of vehicles, such as motorbikes, submarines and ships. Thanks to its simple design, the motor can be easily scaled. In shipbuilding in particular, the motor represents a sensible alternative for making drives more environmentally friendly, as battery drives are particularly problematic in combination with salt water.

THE GORDIIOLA ENGINE can therefore be easily operated with compressed air or compressed air mixtures, such as hydrogen or alternative fuels, making it suitable for multi-complex use.

COMPRESSED AIR DRIVES are not a new concept. Even in the past, trams and trains were operated in this way. Even today, machines and transport equipment are still operated in this way. Today, however, they are once again an interesting alternative to combustion engines or electric drives in vehicles.
